The papers come first. Every company, every product, every batch.
Verdex exists because sourcing cannabis without documentation is a liability. Here is exactly what we verify before anything reaches the marketplace.
KYB & licensing
Before a company can trade, we verify its legal existence and cannabis/hemp licences. Registration number, VAT ID, cultivation or manufacturing licence and any GMP/GACP certificates are checked against official registers.
- Business registration & VAT validation
- Cultivation / extraction / manufacturing licence on file
- Beneficial-ownership & sanctions screening
- Certifications (EU-GMP, GACP, ISO) verified with issuer
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
A product cannot be listed without an SOP. It documents exactly how the material is handled, quality-controlled, quarantined and released — so a buyer knows the process behind the batch, not just the numbers.
- Batch identification & traceability procedure
- Sampling plan and quarantine / release controls
- Storage, handling and dispatch conditions
- Named responsibilities and regulatory references
Certificate of Analysis (COA)
Each listing carries a batch COA from an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory. Buyers see the full cannabinoid profile plus contaminant screening before they ever send an enquiry.
- Full cannabinoid profile (HPLC) with LOQ
- Heavy metals, pesticides, residual solvents
- Microbials, mycotoxins, moisture / water activity
- Automatic THC-compliance flag (≤ 0.3%)
